Hey everyone. I'm back (still in TX). I've been a member since before 2005 and even though I haven't really been that active, I pop on here to take a look every now and then. Looks like there have been many that have come and gone...pretty much only the admins and moderators are the only familiar names.

Just thought that I send a shout out and see what I can get into on here. See ya'll round the threads

I never really left...but after all the crap hit the fan with the new laws and all that, I lost my trust in most places....I know of (or did know of a few) places that still are in business, but not many. I've had a major car accident which left me having some trouble at an older age. I see a doctor now, but he's getting old...and that scares me. I hate to ask him for my records since he'll know that i'm looking for someone else. Anywho, i'm a plethera of information and life experience....just ask =) Nice to see you David....I recall you in the threads too.

Hi Bottleslinger..long time no see.
It's good to hear that you're still around, but bad to hear that you've had a bad accident. I hope that you are recovering well.

Yes, I remember you and I am also sorry to hear about your accident. My Doctor is getting old and it makes me nervous. She is part of a group but who knows how the next one might act.

Stick around, it is getting lonely around here!

Bottleslinger - Please don't worry about asking for your records, they are yours to begin with and have a lawful right to ask and receive them. A couple times a year I call my doc office speak with receptionist and ask for a copy of my records. I add in conversation with the receptionist that I like to have copies of all my medical info. You can state reasons like 1. You want to do research online about your condition to better your knowledge of what is going on with your body, alternative treatments or natural supplements that might help. You could also explained that you want to learn the medical terminology of your situation and having acces to your records is the best way to do research. Bottom line is that the reseptionist will be the one getting your records copied, your doctor probobly won't even know that you asked. If he does know I think It shows that your a smart patient and you want to educate yourself. Another reason you could give and it happens to bbe valid for me is moving. My family has relocated a few times in the last 10 years and I like to have my records from ALL the doctors in the differents states I have been in. Please don't be fearful to ask it is your right to do so.

Hello there ,,, It's been such a long time since I posted here. I'm not sure if anyone even remembers me. I went MIA for some reason,,really no reason. LOL no excuse. Maybe even some people might remember me from as far back as The CP Inn AKA Hawks House. It was on EZ Board. I was Teesha1967 there. An admin for the last couple years before left. Anyway,,that's enough of that. I got an e-mail tonight from this board saying It's been a long time" did you forget about us"..I was so happy I got that e-mail. It's a great idea too.I bet there's many members that drifted away that would like a reminder. I look forward to reacquainting myself with you all. Take care and be well Hugs,
Patty

Hiya Patty! Glad you're back with us. I was 'janie' back then and as you can see, not much has changed! I'm not as exciting as David and can't think of a name change for myself! I'm the crazy storm chaser and am looking forward to tornado season which can start here in March if the 2 feet of remaining snow will ever melt! Anyway, it's wonderful to see ya and stick around this time. Love and hugs.

David darling, heya babe...check your email!
