The so called bird flu is now reported to have mutated so that it is able to be spread from human to human.
This is a serious matter that has not been given to much attention in the mass media.
Is anybody aware that Bush signed an executive order allowing the government to quarantine anyone with flu like symptoms?
The spanish flu pandemic in the early 1900's made the black plague look like a common cold, as far as amount of people dying from it.

I know, but what a bummer!

When does "flu season" start anyway? And this really reminds me of SARS or West-nile virus....yes it has killed people, but really not that many.

Anyone else feel that there is just a lot of media scare about this?

Yea you could be right but from what i hear and have read it is much more dangerous than either of those. West Nile is curable and usually affects older people with weak immune systems. we usually have one or two cases a year here where i live (Texas Coast)
Here is a link with some info
Now this site is known to be a conspiricy site, one of my favorite though lol

Here is another much more detailed site regarding Bird Flu

I am not trying to cause a panic or anything, its just something that ive picked up on in the past few days and started following it a little more closely.
Certain strains of this flu virus have been around for years but it has never been able to be passed on from Human to Human, so if this is true, it is a very significant step that this virus has taken.
here is the link regarding the executive order giving the govt authority to quarintine everyone with flu symptoms. quarantine

hope yall are having a good and "sneeze" free day lol

We all need to be prepared for a out break of the bird flu...I have stocked up on the N95-respirator masks made by Moldex...these were going for a lot of bucks during the Sars outbreak....juju
