Here is a pharmacy association newsletter from December in which the DEA warns of Direct Scripts. I marvel at the way they twist the facts and the weasily way they imply all such things are illegal. Afterall, there isn't a "bona fide doctor-patient relationship". But they can never quite define what that is--because they can't. Anyway, read pages 163 and 169. Enjoy.

Hi there,
I'm pretty new - have been reading for a while, but this is my first post. I am in the process of (hopefully) getting a direct script from an OCS. I read this article and it's a little scary to me. How do you know that when you go to the pharmacy to get the script filled, the pharmacist won't report 'suspicious activity' to the DEA? Also, I don't see the OCS I'm using listed anywhere on this site and am wondering if anyone has used them before? Where would I post that? |
