here i thought the DEA would not go through with the law change but they did!! that is so unfair to all of us who suffer from chronic pain. now it will be more difficult to receive our much needed medications. i just can't believe it!!!

It's not the end of the ROP world yet! We are still in business the same as usual. The new law wasn't intended to stop docs from perscribing for patients from different states. That would end up being a nightmare for specialists and medicare programs who regularly treat and consult with patients from other states.

Thankfully, this law has had little impact for OCS's who are already using licensed MD's and have pharmacy partners licensed in the states they are shipping to.

Hope this brightens your evening!
Take Care,
Sandi

Thanks for the good news Sandi!

It's nice to have somebody around that knows the

ropes of OCS's.

Honey we know well here in Ky. and I am very angry over this. With all the computers and tech. they should be able to control it! Like I said all they would have to do is keep at hub and make each person show id and make sure they are only receiving one pkg. instead of just cutting everyone off! Ohhhh I am soooo angry and just thank God I have a specialist but he is in Ohio. Couldnt even find one of those to help me here in Ky. and I am very sick with chronic pancreatitis and no one in Ky. will help me. If I have an attack is the only time I can get help and have to go in ambulance to ER and go threw hell for 6 days by the time I get in that shape nothing helps.

Sunny,

I'm not sure what I can say...but
Frowner Frowner Frowner I feel for you! Frowner Frowner Frowner I wish I could help.

I know all of the suffering patients in KY (and WV for that matter) are REALLY having a tough time. I'm glad you have a good PM doc- even if he is in the next state.

I know pancreatitis is one of those things that flares unexpectedly, and unmercifully- so I understand your frustration- please keep venting until you feel better!!

Sandi
