Hello everyone, hope all is doing well! I had a question. The doctor told me that I could die if I took vicodin (Hydrocodone) with 10mg Oxycontin (Oxycodone). I don't think that is true, and that she was exaggerating.. How far apart am I allowed to take them if I am not suppose to take them together?

And also, I take tramadol couple hours before I take hydrocone and it helps more with my main.

Oh yeah I still haven't been able to get off of tramadol.. But I'll get there..

Am I doing something wrong? I have not mixed oxy with hydro or anything..

I currently am on 20mg oxy twice a day and 10/500mg hydro 4 times a day so she is pulling your leg or she is just uninformed or ill-informed.

I have been on 40mg oxycontin 3 x's a day with up to 60mg Norco 10-325 for breakthrough. Not dead, yet.

I can't imagine why the DR would say that except to scare you...
