Hello, as you may already know I am having a bad expeirence with generic masters.com in a search to find what I need I have found a new website that looks promising. I have purchased some and so far it is going good. They have yet to provide a tracking number but they did say I should have it in 5-10 days. I will keep you updated as the process goes. At the end I will reveal the address. Wish me luck

I've been incredibly busy having just moved & scrambling to build my studio & find work.
I had a second this am and saw this thread.
In International Services there are TWO threads about genericblah blah. On the first I posted the "who is" search info & noted that only a one year domain name subscription & the billing information being to Selangor Malaysia were two immediate red flags.

Please Hordack, take a minute and read it... it here generic-master issue
I think possibly if we had kept one single thread on this one, instead of opening two threads about the same website (which is suggested in the board rules) Hordack might have seen my post before she ordered.

I just went back to the website & it's completely different from January. I remember because there was conflicting information on it, which I pointed out.

This board only works to our benefit if we share information before we send the money. Malaysia is known for scams.

Now as above, you mention "I have purchased some and so far it is going good."
Actually, you haven't actually purchased anything... you've simply paid for something you assume they will send, right?
I'm really not trying to get on your case, but trying to help.
If you use the simple "whois" tool, it can tell you a lot BEFORE you send any money to an unknown website.

In my original post linked above, I walk you through how to read about a website and just get general information that pretty much any of us can understand. You don't have to be a computer geek (I'm certainly not) to read how long a website's been in operation, how long they own the website name for (less than two years is generally VERY VERY BAAAAD.... more than two years, less bad, but not necessarily good some scam sites have been running for years). But at least I'd have told you in my opinion NEVER to try them.

Information is power.
If you post the website of this new place now, we can help. "Bottleschtinger (sorry! ") is fairly good at scouring the net. I can help with general website information, as far as what to look for as warning signs.
It's much better to learn this stuff before you pay.
Again, just my opinion, but I've found that asking about your bank's policies regarding fraud can help a lot. My bank does take time but they give me a temporary credit while they "research" the issue. What I've done in a similar situation is simply said I never heard of these people.
Most often scam operations never even respond to a bank or even paypal's inquiry.
Actually, when they "baited and switched" you from using a CC to paypal, if you'd have posted that, I'd have said...

I know I can be totally insufferable ninny on stuff like this so and it may seem like a small point, BUT IT'S NOT.
In your post you spell the website incorrectly. I thought I recognized the name and used our "search" tool. It's right at the top of every page and it's called "FIND". I searched, but found nothing, because the name is not ***masters, it's ***master.
Before writing this, I tried a Whois (click here) search before I realized it was the same place I'd warned about back in January....

So spelling website names correctly IS REALLY IMPORTANT.

I know when PW was actively monitored by "the old gang", the two "generic-master" topics would have been merged by a moderator and a suggestion would have been made that we not keep posting new topics if one already exists.
I know I haven't been around much, but just hanging on, has taken every spare moment this winter.
I apologize for that.

jmho, but there is no harm I can see in posting the website name of this NEW place on this this thread.

Tom is right, I do massive internet research on everything and find stuff that other people don't. I am more than happy to help not just in this thread but in any other topic. That is why I am here...above all else, to help the others on this board and provide support as well as good (and by good I mean it in all forms of the word) information; contributing to as much as I can.

One of the reasons I love this board is because it is genuine. We don't play games here and most of us all agree that the goal is to help each other with their pain, issues, stress, and support each other. We do it based off our own experience (shills don't count) and results.

Times are getting harder. Things are getting more difficult to get and liars and those who will steal from you are the majority. I, for one, want to see success for all of us.

Anyway, that sounded like a speech...I just call it how it is and look at facts and results. Some of us have been here long enough that we are like family to each other. I don't see many places that can compete with that.

I wanted to try the generic master place because they had prices and the meds I needed and I was hoping that they were honest people. I have dealt with many people from malaysa with no problem. In fact that is where most of the pain meds get smuggled out of. Thanks again for your help

Just to let you know their customer service number is working and they informed me my order will be shipped. Once I have it I'll let you know.

So what this means is that their website is registered by a service that is designed specifically to block whois searches.

Which I'm not surprised if they're offering generic and branded Vicodin online....

The registration says that the website has a one year lease that started sept 24th 2009 and ends sept 24th 2010.
Once again, it doesn't sound like they intend on being around very long.

jmho, but my suggestion is for everyone to wait until we see the results for Hordack.

In the past, PW members generally consider 3 or 4 separate people having successful orders posted before we are anything but skeptical.
Most scams are baited by sending one or two people meds to get favorable posts, then grabbing as much cash as they can, and vanishing in the night.

I'd be very interested in seeing where the stuff is shipped from, if in fact it does arrive.
Last spring/summer there was an Argentinian website called quickpharmacyonline sending samples and wanting to be officially recognized... remember? PW thread for Quickpharmacyonline.com

They wouldn't pay the fee to become a registered pharmacy member. (the rules state that NO person representing a pharmacy can post without paying the fee and having a special tag on their Avatar letting us all know they work for a pharmacy).
This place promised to send me samples, but never did.... until two months later when I got one pack of samples, and placed a test order, which I never received.
A few people got samples & re-reading the thread it seems about 9 orders were placed by PW members and received.

They never responded to any of my emails again.

The last few posts suggest they notified at least one PW member that were going to do business by email only. I have no idea if they did stay in business, but I never heard from them again and as far as I know.. they're gone. Their website is gone.
Whether they still exist or not, the whole thread is a good study in how even a possibly honest source can be killed by love.
The final posts suggest that PW members were told or heard elsewhere that they were flooded with orders they couldn't fill.

Can someone update me if they still exist?

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that everyone read the thread (at least the first page and then pages 7 through 12. It's an interesting and informative journey we took trying to ferret out the truth.

Even a well meaning pharmacy, can be crushed by love as it "appeared" to be with that operation... unless others know if they do exist in any form.
