I've heard good things about this, anyone try it?They also have it for pain management and stress/panic attacks. It's an alternative to accupunture but basically the same chi (?) points are used.I've seen prices from $300 with 2 extra sessions to $400+ for one tretment and strict program where you have to stop smoking before they provide treament.I was looking on website that sells the equipment for $1100 so it may very well fall under quack devices but know 4 people who said it's worked for thru word of mouth,or no solid proof, friend of a friend type thing.

What Wiki has on it

I was on a site that offers it and got a kick in my better half with them saying this about stop smoking

"A lot of the trouble with smoking is its psychosomatic impact, meaning that you are the one person responsible for the success or failure of any therapy."

That makes me the problem, reality bites!!!!

Any experience from others would be appreciated, also it's not covered by insurance but they say they'll give you medical codes to submit to insurance company for reimbursement.

As for Acupuncture, well I vacillate on that one, I never dismiss alternative therapies, for instance, one of our poster's just had his wife undergo a method known as "Reiki" with excellant results, however, over the years, I have not seen much benefit to folks with very invasive disease process. I had a (Wealthy young woman) who was taken each week, (She had suffered a major stroke)...after a year of Acupuncture, the results were nil. I imagine it would have a lot to do with a persons diagnosis.
and yes, "word of mouth" is certainly more valid and likely to be true than corporate marketing.
Eventually, I will be having lazer surgery, have been too lazy to research though. Good luck in any case.
