**** Okay is it just me?... or....I have tried to contact several "SUB Docs" and I got a lot of tap dancing and BS from uninformed staff. Examples?... "Well he has just done the training but".... HE ISN'T ACTUALLY TREATING ANYONE YET"+ the staff do not know nada about the whole program. After having to rely on meds for the better part of 20 years( Mostly thru the stupidity and laziness of MDs + the fact that they don't like stuff that don't fit the "textbook diagnoses)" I have heard " well you can just give your name & # and we'll call you when he starts doing he sub uh sub uh er what did you call that er uh that subterfuge er uh subronex er subtrfet " conjob don't even know what it is! Or we don't have any openings...hell I've got as job I am looking for a suboxone therapy. I didn't ask for a pension plan just medical treatment. Out of 15-20 I've called I have not found a single one who could take a new patient, anyone who could give me a date when I could expect to get a call or anything except some politician-sounding BS. You may have noticed that my posts do not speak very favorably inre the "medical profession" as they are the second oldest and they lie about what you get as opposed to the oldest profession who make it clear up front what you will get after they are done with you. I guess it will turn out like ritalin #$$$$ PAYOLA $$$$ for slingin' scripts at children cause someone in BIG PHARMA decided that it would be profitable to victimize the weakest among us for profit. Do Docs get paid more for the training to do Sub? I wouldn't even need meds or the Sub if it weren't for these idiots/ golf green jackals in white lab coats and their unwillingness to deal with something that don't diagnose itself. There are 500 million Docs listed on the "net but they always have a semi-literate staff member answering the phone to be sure that you are more confused after you call that before. Just last Wednesday I had one offer me a 3 day detox in which "we give you some medication" which translates to "we lock your ass in a room and give you 2 imodium ad and 2 valium a day and lock the door". Everybody who takes meds and needs to reduce the amount is not sitting in an alley with a needle stickin' outn' their arm nodded off or dissolving K4s in ther restroom at Hardees to run up and never have/will. These people answering the phone need to realize that too. They get you coming and going...they won't treat your pain then worth a rip( "Here try this Vioxx- trademark registered- it's equivalent to 2 percocet or this "Duract" then later.. "You didn't take that Duract I gave {another useless experiment by Pharmacy Companies} you did you? You didn't? Good! it's caused liver failure in those who did." They won't treat your tolerance issues after YOU have to treat your pain cause the bank/mortgagecompany and the power company and the grocery store and utilities don't care if you are hurting and your loved ones don't have any less needs cause of it either. If that is not enough they talk to you like you are lurking in an alley with a dirty needle and looking to steal their purse. I will still probably need pain control but I would like to work my dosages down to a lower level cause let's face it... "less is more" in pain relief if you can make it work and we all know about the little braingasms that we don't even feel that help the tolerances shoot up. Why is it so hard to find a sub doc in a large mnetropolitan area? Why are they advertising when they are NOT treating patients. + IF you have to wait for someone to call you then you are gonna get the refill on your rx and keep the pain and WD demons at bay. Damned if you do and if you don't. Others tell you to call in each week to se if they have a cancellation-surprise! they don't- and then some already have 2056 patients lined up for treatment they aren't even providing yet....nothing like paying for that next Mercedes Benz before you need it is there huh Doc? I smell serious profit margin issues in my dealing to date with trying to find a "Sub- Doc". Any ideas? Input will be greatly appreciated. And thanks to Brad for his site about sub. It answered more questions for me in 5 minutes that the "program" was able to in months.

I have been to two pain management docs they are now trying meditation and mind controll no drug of any kind I would not waste another dime to see a pain management doc it is a crock.

**** I kinda like my pain management Doc...but I don't want to mention dosage related issues cause Docxtors often have a tenmdency to freak and not consdier the long term effect of living with CP. They are reluctant to discuss increasing your dosages so it may be best to NOT discuss that with them as they may ct you off and leave you looking for another Pain Clinic.For real chronic pains they are good. The devil is in the dosgage details every time in the long term pain patient. Hope these tchniques work for you.
