I would really like to know what effects prescription drugs like percocets and oxy's can do to your internal organs. Does anyone with some truthful knowledge like to inform us? Im talking taking pain medicine for several years, will it cause some damage to organs or anything? thanks, Kevin

My understanding is that the additives such as the tylenol cause MUCH more damage than the opiate therapy itself.

During my schooling for EMT we had a Doc come in and lectured us for nearly an hour on Tylenol and it's untoward effects on various body organs...he said generic ASA is your safest, best bet analgesic..."k" so much for that..Oxy/Percocet on long term basis for men can cause, lowered sex drive, impotency, and prostate problems...aint life grand?
