I was taking 10mg of suboxone for four days, and recently, i took one for 8mg and that was my last dose of sub. Now, i went to my dr. cuz my back flared up again, and I told him that the pain is getting worse. He gave me 7 lortab 10/500 to only take when the pain is excruciating. He said not to even think about the addiction assue, as we can deal with it after a week or two when the swelling goes down. But, for right now, he told me to take one 10/500 in the morning. If I took my 8mg of sub this morning, is it going to be o.k. to take a 10/500 lortab tomorrow morning? I'm not worried about any addiction problems coming up, but I'm more worried about taking a lortab and wondering will it have any use in my system if I still have some suboxone left over after 24 hours. Any ideas? I hurt my back again, and I don't care what they have to do, but they said the pain is only temporary. So, can I take a lortab, just one, 24 hours after my last dose of sub?

When your doctor gave you the 7 pills, he didn't tell you how long you need to be off the sub first for it to work? My doctor says it would take 3 days off sub before I could feel the effect of hydro.

I think that misty is right. Sub stays in your system for 3 days. From what I understand, if you have sub in your system, you will not get any effect from hydro at all.
