I have heard people on this board saying they had BEEN TAKING 20 to 30 pillS a day .I always thought apap or actetominophin where toxic after taking 4000 mg or 4 gms . I sister works in the er and had treated people with actomeniphen posioning that only took 4500 mg of tylenol. I was wondering if you body after using allot of tyenol get used to it which increases the amonut you can take per day and thats why the 20 to 30 pills could be taking per day .

I AM THINKING IF YOU WERE TAKING 10/325 X 25 TO AVEVERAGE OUT THE AMOUNT PER DAY YOU ARE LOOKING AT 8125 MG OF TYLENOL OR APAP THATS IS AROUND 8 GMS A DAY

The human body is an individual thing. To much for one person may not be for another. What is posted on the tylenol bottle is the SAFE dose for MOST people. If you drink alcohol, in any amount, your liver will not tolerate as much tylenol. Also, other meds you take, the amount of water you drink, your weight, and overall health have an affect on how much tylenol your body can tolerate. Best to be safe and just follow guidelines the manufactor recommends.
