I was just wondering if anyone has had their yearly blood tests while using Kratom?

I ask because I just did, and mine had ranges that I have not seen for over 15 years! My cholesterol over the past years has been too high, and also triglycerides have been through the roof. I have done nothing to change my lifestyle and am also fairly overweight, and the only thing different this time around is the use of Kratom. My cholesterol, triglycerides, lipids, everything was in the extremely normal range. The one thing that really surprised me was my HDL cholesterol, the one that is supposed to be high. This has been low for me for about 15 years. This is usually a hereditary thing, and nothing really helps in trying to raise it. It was also VERY normal, within range.

Camt, thanks for the info---very interesting. My doctor doesn't know I take Kratom, although he does prescribe me hydro. I do know that I have some liver damage from too much drinking when I was younger, and he does enzyme tests periodically to make sure the Tylenol in the hydro compound isn't firther injuring my liver. And despite fairly regular use of hydro, then Kratom when I take a holiday, all my enzyme tests have been normal. In fact, since I began using more Kratom and less hydro, they've become much better than when I started. Interesting...

My HDL for the last three years has ben just over the high/normal side..just enough for the Doc to tell me to cut down on fats & excercise.
I've done neither (shame on me!), but I've taken kratom just occasinally, then I guess around once per day a week before my yearly test. Cholestrol was down to just above normal. Doc says to keep doing what I'm doing.
Problem is ..I can't afford it!
I think this stuff warrants more study....
