I have been using Kratom for a little over a month now and it has been great for me. I have two slipped discs in my neck thanks to a car accident 4 years ago in which a fatality was involved. I was on hydro and through surgery and other rehab I have been able to find other medications and ways to help my pain and the Kratom was wonderful in helping me to leave the hydro alone..At my height I was taking 15 10/500's a day. I don't take any now!! Praise GOD! My question is does anyone know of any affects Kratom has on the liver or other body organs and if it is good or bad?
Thanks for your help. ACE-

Ace, I don't know about the liver question, but, JMHO, I would think it is better than the 75 grams of tylenol you were ingesting daily. I don't know about the long term affect of Kratom, but I see that most responsible suppliers warn against continual daily usage.

BTW, how do you find it on the pain killing front? Just to pick your brain further, what dosages do you find it as a stimulant, pain reducer, or sedative, if any.
Thanks, Ace
PB

Hi PB, sorry for the delay on answering you..I never really remember the Kratom acting as a stimulant for me, only as a sedative..It does seem to help my pain, but usually only in larger doses..I am currently using other non narcotic medication for the pain and between that my rehab and my Kratom I am doing ok!
I am down to two teaspoons a day one in the morning and one before bed and I have to tell you since I have used this stuff at bedtime, I sleep like when I was a kid, I mean I don't move..It has been a miracle for me..Anyway thanks for the response, Yeah I was taking a lot of the old tylonel but no more..Thanks PB--ACE-
