from what I have read, kratom will start to become more expensive starting november 1st. Not sure if this is already known here but I just read it today. Luckily I also ordered today so that works out.

"Supply and Demand"
In other words, equilibrium exists if the amount sellers are willing to sell is equal to the amount buyers are willing to buy. There I go rambling on again!

I agree with some of the replies , Kratom works for my MS and DDD pretty well, but i still need the lidoderm patches for my neck pain and xanax for the spasms, but Kratom took away at least 50 percent of the pain , the hydro/morphine etc. just didn't touch it anymore , amazing that an herb does. But it really does make a difference where you get it.
some is SO expensive and not effective as others, i've tried most sources and found the BEST so far for price and quality (and fast shipping)

I wouldn't trust some of the sources that cap them for you, i've gotten bad batches seemed some caps were fine , the others something else. I've gotten some bad batches from both IAS and MRK so stopped using them.

HTH !
let me know how you're doing ! I really care, it has been a Godsend for me, from 15 10/500 for MS pain to none and even helps with the pain, no w/ds and no cravings.

edititing to add they have plants (large established ones available november 1) Preorders taken now and yours is guarenteed. I'm growing a field just in case they take this freedom away too !

Janelle, I am very glad that the kratom is working for you. I am trying it myself so that I can stretch out or take short "holidays" from taking pain medications. I have tried various grades from premium, super, super enhanced, and just now, lyopolized (sp) - dried and filtered extract.
One thing I am starting to understand is that there really isn't a standardized powder. By that I mean, depending on the weather, the time of year and other variables, the alkoloids of a particular plant will vary somewhat. So that is the rub in my opinion. Just about any source you get the kratom from will vary over time as that is natural with the plant.

I am also interested in something you said in another thread above, that you can mix it with other herbs and it is more effective for you. Now I am not interested in getting a buzz. In fact, due to the concentration necessary for my work, I desire to be very mentally alert and not groggy or sleepy. But I would be interested in hearing about some of the combinations you speak of.
BTW, I think the admin doesn't want us to discuss the particular pro and cons of kratom sources. However, I think it is okay to do that in the Alternative Therapies threads below. If one isn't shilling, we can discuss our experiences with suppliers, just as we can discuss our experiences with OCSs. Just FYI, I have used MrKratom, *********, and PAH, and am happy with the product of all of them. When I have time, I will try to start a thread to discuss sources down in the Alternative Therapies thread. But I thought you might be interested in the variability of the potency of the plant to maybe shed some light on why you might get a batch from a particular source that seems stronger or weaker than another. However, I don't think there should be a great difference from batch to batch. Then again, I haven't been taking kratom for that long, or that regularly.

Take care,
PB
