This is not for everyone, but if you can stand prunes, make-up a bowl of stewed prunes, have a small bowl each morning if you are on a Hydrocodone regimen your tummy will thank you for it, plus they are healthy, dark toast is good too, remember, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" Nice idea for a post Naughty!

Thanks for the remedys boys!!! Both of those are very important things I think alot of us over look when focusing on pain control! I know that before I joined PW I had never even put a second thought into my liver~honistly I didn't even know acet. was a real threat! Being in the age group that I am we have been so boombarded with warnings, and side effects, and every other day whats gonna kill or then cure no wait kill you,or give you 5000000000000 horrid side effects I know at least for myself I have and have had a tennicey to look past the warning labels!

Anybody else out there with secrets up your sleves for, helping with...
~making meds more effective/long lasting

~helping with unplesent side effects

~tappering/withdrawls

~or any other little secret you have learned on your theraputic journey pleaz share!!

~nighty night~Naughty

Good question and great that you want to utilize the entire board with suggestions.

I hope someone comes along with some 'natural' remedies.

I have tried lots of them. A couple of days ago I tried a 'chi machine' for those that cannot exercise. You lay on the floor with your calves in this small contraption and it 'wiggles' you lower body. Supposed to perform lymphatic action on your organs and be equal to an hour walk.
Hmm, I don't know if its worth 480 dollars, but it was fun to see something new on the market for those of us that cannot do the normal type of exercises. I can walk, but nothing for my core, which is in desperate need of something!

Don't for get to check out the "Vaults of Erowid"
They offer lists of Herbs, chemicals, plants, that are legal and help with a variety of ailments...it's a fun site if you have not visited it before.
